Two (2) grant schemes are offered:
1. Departments with emergent current research programs, seeking to establish a sustainable local research program (up to $150,000)
2. Departments with established research programs seeking to develop a research program with a view to gaining national or collaborative funding within the grant period (up to $300,000).
Please note that applications for this scheme will follow an Expression of Interest (EOI) format. An EOI document of up to five (5) pages will need to be uploaded with this application form, outlining the proposed departmental research program, with rationale, aims, methodology, expected outcomes, budget summary (with justification) and clearly defined progress indicators.
The EOI document should cover all information in the Key Criteria from the Grant Guidelines.
The applicant (Lead Principal Investigator) can only submit one application per SERTF-Wishlist Seed Grant round and must not already be the holder of an ongoing successful research grant in this category (this funding round is considered a continuation of past SERTF project seed grants for this purpose).
Please contact the Research Governance and Development Unit if you need to discuss your options: SC-Research-Grants@health.qld.gov.au.
